Region 60 Leadership Update

AYSO Region 60 would like to share an important update.

After three incredible years of service as Regional Commissioner, Manny Olea has fulfilled his tenure. The board has voted in Christina Bentivegna to serve as our next Regional Commissioner effective December 1, 2024.

Many of you have probably seen Manny on the field from dawn to dusk at Almansor, and even until the lights turn off on the field. He has been an exceptional leader, dedicating himself tirelessly to the growth and success of Region 60. Our region has grown to nearly 1,300 registrants under his leadership. His passion is to make soccer accessible to as many players as possible. Manny's unwavering commitment to our players and families is evident - from coaching and refereeing to painting fields to ensure opportunities to play soccer year-round. We are deeply grateful for all that Manny has done to strengthen our region and foster a love of soccer in our community. His impact will be felt for years to come.

Many of you have probably also seen Christina on the field from dawn to dusk at Almansor, and even until the lights turn off on the field! She steps into the role as RC with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to AYSO. She has been part of the AYSO community for 14 years, which 8 of those years she has been serving on the board. Christina has spearheaded key initiatives that have strengthened our programs and brought new energy to our leadership team. She is deeply passionate about creating positive experiences for every player and family. Her collaborative approach, innovative ideas, and strong connection to our community will ensure that Region 60 continues to grow and thrive in exciting new ways.
