Q: How do I register my child?
A: Registration for the 2020 Core Program opens mid March 2020.  As a past participant in our soccer program, we want to make you aware of a very important changes to our Region.  We have updated our Registration Process.

2020-2021 Registration Process
Players (except Very Important Player, VIP) will be placed on a wait list as soon as the division meets full capacity. Once we have secured the necessary volunteers, we will release players based on registration date and time.

Q: Who is going to be my child's coach?
A:  You will be contacted by email or phone after teams are formed by the coach or team manager. If you don't hear from anyone please contact your division commissioner which can be found on the  Regional Board tab.

Q: When and where are practices?
A: For 6U* through 19U, practice permits are at Almansor Park on Mon-Wed-Fri from 5:30pm to 8:30pm or Tuesday & Thursday at Barnes Park.  Practice days, starting times, and length vary depending on the age division and coach availability. *Please note that 6U divisions may practice at Granada Park on Tue-Thu as an alternative. Schoolyard (5U) only practices on Saturdays before the game. Practices for the 2020 season begin (TBD)

Q: When does the season start/end and where and when are the games?
A: Games for the 2020 season begin TBD. For Schoolyard (5U) through 12U, games are at Almansor Park and other parks in Monterey Park on Saturdays from as early as 8:00am to as late as 4:00 pm; starting times vary week to week. For 14U|16U|19U, there may be travel involved for teams, usually in the surrounding cities (e.g. Pasadena, San Gabriel, El Monte, etc.). These teams may also play on Sundays.

Q: I need to get a refund. How do I go about it?
A: Refunds must be requested in writing to the Regional Registrar Janet Sanchez, at  [email protected]

    • Any player who withdraws from the program and, prior to July 1, requests a refund of registration fees paid, shall be entitled to a refund of remaining fees after $25 and national fees ($20.00) have been deducted.
    • After June 30, there will be no refund.
    • The Regional Registrar shall review each refund request and, if appropriate, ask the Regional Treasurer to pay the refundable amount.
      • Expectation for players withdrawing after June 30:
    • If the player cannot play due to injury and the player or their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) presents a doctor’s note to that effect, the player shall be entitled to a refund of remaining fees after $25 and national fees of $20 have been deducted.
    • If the player or their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) moves out of the area and proof of a change of address is presented the player shall be entitled to a refund of remaining fees after $25 and national fees of $20 have been deducted.
    • If the region is unable to form a team or place the player on a team in the division for which the player registered, the player shall be entitled to a refund of all remaining fees after national fees of $20 have been deducted.
    • There are no refunds for Spring Cup, Grad Seried and All Star programs.

Q: How can I help AYSO Region 60?
A: Thank you for considering to volunteer for AYSO. We are always in need of coaches, assistant coaches, referees, and other important positions throughout the season. AYSO has a great training program, no experience is necessary - only the desire. Please contact the CVPA at [email protected] or your division commissioner.
