Christmas Classic Tournament

Another weekend well spent playing soccer. This time, our U14 boys headed to West Torrance and competed in Region 14's Christmas Classic Tournament. The team was comprised of our sectional boys plus a few key additions from the Area team, proudly led by Coach Jay Yao and Assistant Coach Brett Wakino.

The competition was fierce, but the team played excellently. They were undefeated leading up to the championship game.

Game 1 vs W. Torrance Elite 5-1 W
Game 2 vs W. Torrance Baddies 2-0 W
Game 3 vs. Cypress All-Stars 8-0 W

The championship game was against W. Torrance Elite once again and went to double overtime, then headed into PKs. The boys fought hard but unfortunately came up short. Congratulations to our U14 boys finalists.

Special shout out to our region's volunteer referees! They not only fulfilled their team's referee requirements, but they stepped in and helped out when other referees called out sick or showed up late. We are so thankful to have them represent Region 60.
